The resort is located on a wonderful estate converted from ancient vineyards and fields. Here, materials from older buildings were used for traditional construction, such as Zagorje cottages, cellars, stables and sheds, and the stones were shaped from the stream and show the remnants of shells and fossils from the age of the Pannonian Sea.

The name "Pethrasti," refers to five oaks surrounding an old wooden house; the oldest oak is estimated to be about 230 years old.
